FAQs

Each session is a confidential, grounded space where we follow what you bring – your questions, your stories, your longings, and the places that feel tender or unclear. My approach integrates therapeutic dialogue, somatic awareness, and a sex-positive perspective. We move at your pace, exploring your inner world with honesty, care, and curiosity.

My work sits at the intersection of all three. I draw from psychotherapy studies, sex education, somatic practices, and over a decade of working with individuals, couples, and groups. Sessions are therapeutic in nature – focused on depth, meaning, and long-term change – while also offering practical tools and education when helpful.

I work with adults of all genders, orientations, and relationship structures. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and grounded in respect, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity.

Yes. I support couples who want to understand their relational patterns, rebuild connection, navigate desire differences, or repair after difficult periods. We work on emotional intimacy, communication, erotic connection, and the shared meaning that brought you together.

Completely. Talking about sex, desire, or relationships can feel vulnerable. Most clients arrive unsure of where to begin – that’s welcome. My job is to create a space where you can arrive exactly as you are and take your time to find your words.

No. Sexuality is one part of our emotional and relational life, but not the only one. Many people come to me to explore emotional patterns, boundaries, relationships, communication, self-esteem, confidence, or a desire for deeper connection with themselves and others. Sex may be part of the conversation – or not. We follow what feels most important to you.

Absolutely. You don’t need a crisis to seek support. This work can be a space for self-discovery, growth, and a deeper connection with yourself and others – expanding your capacity for pleasure, intimacy, and authenticity in all areas of life.

Both. I offer online sessions (in English or Portuguese) and in-person sessions in Auckland.

Yes. I am trauma-informed and have supported many clients healing from sexual trauma. I will always work at your pace and with your consent. If at any point I feel you would benefit from specialised mental-health support, I will discuss this gently and ethically with you.

This depends on your goals. Some people come for short-term support (6-8 sessions), while others choose deeper, ongoing work. We can discuss what feels right for you in your first session.

Fees vary according to session type (individual or couples). Full details are provided when booking. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full, as the time is reserved specifically for you.

You can contact me through the website form or by email. I’ll reply with available times and next steps.

Not currently. Most of my qualifications and postgraduate training were completed in Brazil, where I built my background in sexuality, somatics and positive psychology. Because these credentials were obtained outside New Zealand, I am not registered with PBANZ.

I work within my scope as a sex and relationship expert, and if you would benefit from support from a registered psychotherapist or another mental-health professional, I will guide you toward appropriate options.
